Once there was a man and a woman and a kitchen. Once there was love, and this was long ago when love was not as love is now. Once: man, woman, kitchen, love — and there was a wish and many, many make-believes, and the onion which wasn’t an onion at all… And there was dancing and soup and voices raised in anger… and the strange, terrifying creature… and the small, small boy. Open Theatre Kitchen is a play with music and cooking.
