Harriet Brash and her big sister, Queenie, and her kid brother, Thunder, and the baby of the family, Toot, grew up knowing they would have to save the world one day. In fact, the first time Harriet saved the world she was 13… and that was the start of all her misfortunes. Years later, as the siblings are brought together by a wedding and by illness, they’re forced to confront the impending loss of the woodland where they grew up — a woodland still haunted by the spirit of their childhood hero, the mythic tree-loving lumberjack Barnabas Reet. Welcome to the Tree Museum is a play with music, about the difficulties of coming of age in a world casually racing towards ecological disaster.
